A no-prep veneer is an ultra-thin shell bonded directly onto the front of a tooth with little to no removal of natural enamel — no drilling, no grinding down your natural teeth.
Because no-prep veneers are made extremely thin, they can be bonded directly onto the existing tooth surface instead of requiring space to be created by removing enamel first. This is why they suit patients with already well-aligned teeth wanting a brightness or minor shape change, rather than a major correction.
No-prep veneers are often reversible, since very little or no enamel is removed.
